WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN A CPA AND AN ENROLLED AGENT?

EAs and CPAs are both knowledgeable, experienced professionals who are required to maintain high ethical standards. The primary difference between an EA vs CPA is that EAs specialize in taxation, and CPAs can specialize in taxation and more.

HOW LONG SHOULD I KEEP MY TAX RECORDS FOR?

  1. Keep records for 3 years from the date you filed your original return or 2 years from the date you paid the tax, whichever is later, if you file a claim for credit or refund after you file your return.

  2. Keep records for 7 years if you file a claim for a loss from worthless securities or bad debt deduction.

WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICE FEES?

Our service fees are dependent on your tax situation. It depends on the forms and schedules included in your income tax return. So you are not paying more than you should.

WHEN DID THE IRS START ACCEPTING 2021 TAX RETURNS?

 The tentative date that the Internal Revenue Service will begin accepting and processing 2022 tax year returns is January 23rd, 2023. The filing deadline to submit 2022 tax returns or an extension to file and pay the tax owed is Tuesday, April 18, 2023, for most taxpayers.
